Recipe of the Week

This week's recipe is one of my childhood favorites. My Mom & I used to make them for bake sales. They have always been one of my favorite cookies, but I have rarely made them in my adulthood. When I saw the recipe pop up on another blog, I knew I had to made them. They were delicious, though J thought they were too chocolatey sweet. Psshh- what do men know about chocolate? ;)

You were apparently reading my mind! I was looking through my cookbooks for this exact recipe yesterday and couldn't find it.

You rock!

My husband and I are the opposite way, he would eat a whole batch of these, and I can only eat one because they are so sweet. lol :)

These look yummy. A friend of mine makes these. I think she omits the cocoa and uses nutella instead of peanut butter. They are gewd!

Love these cookies, and have been making them for years. Lately, though, I've had trouble getting them to set. Maybe it's the humidity in southeast Texas. Fortunately, they taste just as good when eaten with a spoon. ;)

Your recipe is very close to mine....mine calls for 1/2 c cocoa! That's the only difference! YUMMY. These are a fave in this house too, but we have a little with PB allergy. :(
