Book Review- The Book Thief

Not my image

This book was amazing, wonderful, touching & heartbreaking.
I finished it in just a couple of days because I couldnt put it down.
I cried a few times during the book, but the ending was
heart wrenching and I ended up sobbing.
Despite that, I loved this book!
I normally dont like things (books, movies, people) that make me cry,
but this book was so, so good.

It takes place during WWII in Germany and follows a foster child through the
struggles of life. Death is the narrator and you cant help but like him.
The characters are full of heart and resilience.
The story is engaging and consistently earns 5 out of 5 stars in reviews.
This review is no different.

I read this back in December and I loved it! Very different from what I expected, but I really enjoyed it.

I love your book reviews. With the husband deployed, I have the time I would usually annoy him with my mindless babble free. And I have no idea what I want to read!

Don't tell the others, but you're my favorite. (Although, I don't know who the others are, and I don't know what exactly you are my favorite of. But we'll just go with it.)

This is one of my all time favorite books!!! I think you and I have a lot of the same "book tastes." Have you ever read a book called The Double Bind by Chris Bojhalian?? SO GOOD!!

Awesome thank you I was looking for another book, finishing Auschwitz: A Doctor's Eyewitness Account. WWII books are particularly interesting to me having the chance to live in Germany for a few years.
