MilSpouse Friday Fill-in #9

Ah Friday, how I love you. I've really enjoyed reading other MilSpouse's responses. It's great getting to know everyone. Here's this week's MilSpouse Fill-in!

1. If you could be a fugitive from the law for whatever reason, what would your crime be? (from It's a Hooah Life)
Well, I'd rather not be a fugitive, but if I had to chose, I would say I'd be a fugitive for stealing millions of dollars from some corrupt person/company. Of course I would flee to a tropical island and get away with it.

2. How long do you think you will be a military family? (from Julie the Army Wife)
Either six more years or sixteen depending on whether J stays in for the entire 20 or not. We still haven't decided and frankly, right now we don't have too.

3. What's your favorite recipe? (from Keep Calm and Soldier On)
I have so many! Here's one that I just made for the first time this week courtesy of Southern Living:

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

1 c. flour
1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
3 (8 oz.) packages of cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3 large eggs
1/3 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (12 oz.) package mini chocolate chips, divided

Beat first three ingredients at low speed with electric mixer until combined. Increase speed to medium and beat until well blended and crumbly. Pat mixture into a lightly greased 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 13-15 mins or until brown. Beat cream cheese at medium speed until creamy. Add sugar, beating until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, beating at low speed until just blended. Add sour cream, vanilla, and 1 c. mini chocolate morsels, beating until just blended. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 for 25 mins or until set. Cool completely. Microwave remaining morsels in 2 c. glass measuring cup for one minute. Stir. Microwave in 30 second intervals until completely melted. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly. Drizzle over cheesecake. Cover and chill at least 4 hrs. Cut into bars and serve. Enjoy!
I made these this week and they are so yummy!

4. What would you want your last five words to be when you leave this life? (from My Goal is Simple)
I hope Heaven has cupcakes! =)

5. Where do you hope to retire? (from Pennies from Heaven)
To the beach. Somewhere warm. With lots of fruity drinks.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Those bars look yummy! And easy, which is perfect since I'm not a huge baker and Mr. F has a sweet tooth!
